About Us
MAC Officina founded in 1988, after 19 passionate years in the engineering and mechanical sector. In 2002, the company changed from a sole proprietorship to a corporation, bringing on board Carlo Padoan to deal with the growth that the company was enjoying. The following year two more partners joined.
Despite the Euro-Zones integration to a single currency, which was responsible for numerous economic difficulties, MAC Officina has spectacularly defied the norm and has achieved a 40% growth in sales since 1998. In turn, they were awarded the prestigious "Italia Che Lavora".
As well as traditional engineering feats, MAC Officina plays an important part in the metal works industry, building aspiration systems and smoke extractors for all kinds of businesses. Their expertise has been recognized and appreciated by fellow engineering firms such as Jansen, who granted MAC Officina the distribution rights for their products throughout the north of Italy, and MAC Officina is proud to be the engineers behind the new tower being built at the Pisa Airport in Italy.
MAC Officina's latest project, 'La Brichetta', promotes environmentally friendly business practices by taking the by-products of industries that deal with wood and metal works and creating non-treated logs that are compressed by 2-10X their previous volume. This allows companies to drastically reduce their distribution costs. Businesses that utilize 'La Brichetta' to reduce the volume of wood waste also have the opportunity to resell their compressed briquettes to other parties, as the non-treated logs burn 2X as hot as regular firewood.
